The OIL BUBBLE collection is made from solid-coloured glass and consists of a round glass bubble that floats on a coloured glass base. The collection consists of 9 colour combinations and 2 different heights: blue/yellow, amber/rose, yellow/blue, smoke/smoke, rose/green, blue/blue, rose/rose, yellow/yellow and green/green. This Oil Bubble has a beautiful blue bubble with a glass base in the same blue colour. The oil candles are designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen.
The oil candle is filled with lamp oil with the enclosed funnel.

The beautiful oil candle can be used all year round and gives a breath of fresh air to the home. The oil candle creates a beautiful and lively light that brings colour and movement into the room. You can place the candle somewhere where the sunrays can reach the glass so that the colours are reflected and throw colourful shadows. It creates a warm, gentle and lovely atmosphere.
The beautiful blue colour gives a modern pop of colour and colour to your every day life. The Oil bubbles are a fusion of our Standing Bubble and our Glass Candles, which means that they are easy to style with our other products so that they altogether create a small, colourful glass universe.
Oil Bubbles are designed for indoor use but can also be used outside on the terrace table on a summer evening. The design is organic, stylish and classic and will be beautiful in a still life, either on its own or with more oil candles together in a cluster. They can be placed in the windowsill, a shelf or on the dinner table as a part of the table arrangement.

The oil candles are mouth-blown and made from solid-coloured borosilicate glass, which is a special type of glass that endures high changes of temperatures, which means that they do not explode when lit. The material is also scratch resistant so that the oil candle will keep its beautiful appearance over time.
There will be no cleaning of wax from tables or tablecloths since the oil candles only use oil.
The oil candle can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap.
Oil and wicks are crucial for the burn time of the oil candles and therefore, we have tested several different lamp oils to find the best oil for these particular glass candles. We recommend using the lamp oil from the brand Alaska or Borup. These oils are normal lamp oils, which are free from odour and does not soot. The oil from Alaska is suitable for indoor use.
A full candle can burn consistently for an average of 25 hours depending on the type of oil.
NB It is crucial that you do not split the wick, as the candle will burn increasingly worse. There is always 1 extra wick included in the package.
Place the wick in the little glass tube.
Add oil using the enclosed funnel.
Dab the top of the wick with a drop of oil from the funnel. Let about 3-5 mm of the wick peep out so the flame does not become too powerful and soot.
Extinguish the candle as you usually do by blowing it out or using a candle extinguisher.
