Beautiful dinner plate in the colour TERRACOTTA/BLUE. The plate is part of the ceramic set CLAYWARE from the new TABLEWARE collection from Studio About and is a refreshing interpretation of the classic dinner set. This ceramic plate is two-coloured with a partial glazing so that the raw terracotta clay is kept on the outside whereas the inner part of the plate is glazed with a light blue colour, which creates a beautiful contrast. The plate comes in a set of two, and is therefore the perfect house warming gift or birthday gift.
The partial glazing of the plate gives a tactile and luxurious feel and sense of fine craftsmanship. The design is simple and timeless with the large surface and raised edge, but the colour combination makes the plate playful and inspiring, making it suitable for both a classic and stylish home as well as a modern and colourful home. You can combine the plate with other colour combinations from the CLAYWARE collection or mix it with other materials like coloured glass for a lighter and contrasted look. You can also place a paper flower wrapped around a linen napkin as a napkin ring to make your table arrangement even more festive.
The dinner plate has the perfect size for larger meals or as a smaller serving tray for salads, fruits or cakes. The plate is stackable, but it is also decorative to have on display in an open cabinet.
The ceramic plate can be cleaned with warm water and soap but is also suitable for the dishwasher. It can also be used in the microwave and freezer but is not suitable for oven use. The ceramic is food safe, including acid. The plate is made from terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts will get traces of usage over time. This is part of the design and will only give character to the plate.
