The yellow Dahlia paper flower is part of a series of 4 paper flowers in 8 different colours from Studio About. The flower is designed in collaboration with Kristina from Labdecor and is crafted from solid-coloured crepe paper and mounted on a long, flexible green stem.

There are two editions of Dahlia, this one in yellow and one in red.

USE DAHLIA PAPER FLOWERS AS DECORATION

Late summer and early autumn are dahlia seasons. Studio About wanted to extend this season and has made two versions of this beautiful flower in crepe paper.

The crepe flowers are beautiful individually or in bouquets. You can use your paper flowers the same way you would use the natural flower. The difference is that your paper flower lasts forever and does not need water. Try styling your paper flower with fresh flowers, it gives a bold look making anyone take a second look at the bouquet. However, remember to protect that part of the artificial stem so that it does not meet the water. The flexible stem allows you to easily wrap it around natural flowers ensuring that the water does not touch the stems of the paper flowers.

We also style them in vases with dried flowers and grasses, it gives a perfect balance, ingenious as a hostess gift and as a decoration for your gifts.

HOW TO UNWRAP

The fine paper flowers are delivered in a small paper tube that protects the flower when not in use. You decide the look of your flower – should it be wholly sprouted or bud?

Follow these 3 steps to unfold it completely:

• Carefully grab the flower head in the box and pull it out.
• Spread the petals of the flower.
• To create more volume, you can gently pull your thumb in the centre of a petal, making them more curved.
