Beautiful dinner plate in the color TERRACOTTA/BLUE. The plate is part of the CLAYWARE ceramic set from Studio About's new TABLEWARE collection and is a refreshing take on the classic dinner service. This ceramic plate is two-tone with a partial glaze, so the raw terracotta clay is preserved on the outside while the interior of the plate is glazed in a light dove blue color, creating a beautiful contrast. The plate comes in a set of 2 and is therefore perfect as a housewarming or birthday gift.

 

CERAMIC PLATE FOR A FESTIVE TABLE SETTING

The partial glaze of the plate gives a tactile and luxurious feel and a sense of craftsmanship in your hands. The design is simple and timeless with the large surface curving into a wide rim, but the color combination makes the plate playful and inspiring, making it suitable for a classic, stylish home as well as a modern and colorful decor. You can combine the plate with other color combinations from the CLAYWARE collection or pair it with other materials like colored glass for a lighter and contrasting look. You can also place a paper flower wrapped around a napkin as a napkin ring on the plate to make your table setting even more festive.

The dinner plate is the perfect size for a larger meal or as a smaller serving dish for salads, fruits or cakes, for example. It is stackable, making it practical in the kitchen, but it is also decorative when displayed on an open shelf.

 

CLEANING

The ceramic plate can be cleaned with warm water and soap, but is also dishwasher safe. It can also be placed in the microwave and freezer, but is not suitable for the oven. The ceramic is approved for food, including acid-based foods. The plate is made of terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts may patina over time. This is part of the design and will only add character to the plate.

The dinner plate also comes in the colors IVORY/YELLOW, TERRAOTTA/RED and SAND/GREY, and is also available as bowls and mugs.
