FEMININE OIL BUBBLE

The OIL BUBBLES collection is made from solid-coloured glass and consists of a round glass bubble that rests on a coloured glass base, which creates an elegant and sophisticated look. The collection consists of 9 colour combinations and 2 different heights: blue/yellow, amber/rose, yellow/blue, smoke/smoke, rose/green, blue/blue, rose/rose, yellow/yellow and green/green. This Oil Bubble has a rose-coloured bubble that rests on a base in the same colour. The Oil Bubbles are designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen.

OIL CANDLE WITH A WICK

The following is included, when you buy an oil candle:

• Round bubble and high base, both in the colour rose
• A funnel to fill the bubble with oil
• 2 wicks, each with a burn time of approx. 1000 hours.
• A small glass tube for the wick

ROSE-COLOURED BUBBLE

The round, organic shape floats on a base in coloured glass and brings lightness and elegance to the home, and the colour rose gives a feminine and delicate expression, which makes it elegant and decorative in every home. You can combine our Oil Bubbles with our Glass Candles, which is our interpretation of the classic wax candle. You can also create a still life with our elegant glass vases, for example our Standing Bubble or Flower Tube vases. When you light the oil candle, the light from the flame reflects beautifully with the coloured glass and create a wonderful play of colour. These colours will be enhanced even more if you place the oil candle somewhere where the sunrays can reach and be reflected in the glass.

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO YOUR HOME DÉCOR

Oil Bubbles are designed to be used indoors, but can also be used outside on the terrace table on a warm summer evening. The combination of the round shape of coloured glass and the cylindrical base will create a cosy and wonderful atmosphere. The playful design gives a breath of fresh air to your home décor, while the rose-coloured glass gives a pleasant and soft expression.

MOUTH-BLOWN OIL CANDLES

The oil candles are mouth blown and made from solid-coloured borosilicate glass, which is a special type of glass that endures high changes of temperatures, which means that they do not explode when lit. The material is also scratch resistant so that the oil candle will keep its beautiful appearance over time.

 There will be no cleaning of wax from tables or tablecloths since the oil candles only use oil. 

CLEANING

The oil candle can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap.

BURN TIME & LAMP OIL

Oil and wicks are crucial for the burn time of the oil candles and therefore, we have tested several different lamp oils to find the best oil for these particular glass candles. We recommend using the lamp oil from the brand Alaska or Borup. These oils are normal lamp oils, which are free from odour and does not soot. The oil from Alaska is suitable for indoor use.

A full candle can burn consistently for an average of 25 hours depending on the type of oil.

NB It is crucial that you do not split the wick, as the candle will burn increasingly worse. There is always 1 extra wick included in the package.

HOW TO FILL UP OIL

Place the wick in the little glass tube.

Add oil using the enclosed funnel.

Dab the top of the wick with a drop of oil from the funnel. Let about 3-5 mm of the wick peep out so the flame does not become too powerful and soot.

Extinguish the candle as you usually do by blowing it out or using a candle extinguisher.

NOTE: ONLY RE-FILL OIL WHEN THE GLASS IS COOLED DOWN
