PAPER FLOWER, AFRICAN LILY, YELLOW, 100430Y

The African Lily paper flower is designed in collaboration with Kristina from Labdecor. This is the second collection of the collaboration with Labdecor with a series of 7 new paper flowers in 14 different colours from Studio About. The flower is made of solid-coloured crepe paper mounted on a long, pliable green stem.

There are two editions of African Lily, one in yellow and one in rose. In addition to African Lily, you can also, in this latest collection of paper flowers, find these variants: Clematis, Grand Dahlia, Ice Poppy, Morning Glory, Pampas and Palm. In the first collection, you can find the flowers Dahlia, Peony, Poppy and Daisy.

USE AFRICAN LILY PAPER FLOWERS IN THE DECOR

The African lily is in full bloom all summer in the Danish gardens, and you can now get the beautiful plant as an elegant crepe flower.

Use the paper flowers individually or put them together into a beautiful bouquet. You can use your paper flowers the same way you would use the natural flower. The difference is that your paper flower lasts forever and does not need water. If you choose to combine your paper flower with ordinary flowers, remember to protect the part of the flower that is in water.

Make a bouquet where you mix the crepe flowers with fresh flowers and enjoy the contrast. The elegant paper flowers from Studio About are an obvious pick as hostess gifts or as a “just because” gift. They last forever and will bring joy for a long time.

USE THE FLOWERS CREATIVELY

In addition to the decorative properties of paper flowers, they are also both versatile and long-lasting. We have put together some inspiration for you who want to use the paper flowers in different ways - either in your decor, on the table or as accessories. If you feel like something new, the flowers can be reused in new creative projects.

  1. Wrap the paper flower around your napkin and serve a plateful of flower happiness to your guests
  2. Mix paper flowers with fresh flowers (but remember to protect the paper stalk from water)
  3. Use the paper flowers as a colourful eye-catcher in a dried bouquet
  4. Treat your friend to a stalk or two as a hostess gift
  5. Decorate your gifts with a paper flower
  6. Use the flowers individually or put them together for bouquets
  7. Make a beautiful flower wreath for your hair with paper flowers

The paper flowers have a flexible stem and will fit in both small and large vases - bend the stem a few times and use it in a small Standing Bubble or leave it in all its glory in the tall cylinder vase Flower Tube.

UNWRAPPING

The delicate paper flowers are delivered in a small paper tube that protects the flower when not in use. You decide the look of your flower – should it be wholly sprouted or in bud?

Follow these 3 steps to unfold it completely:

Carefully grab the corolla in the box and pull it out.

Spread the petals of the flower.

To create more fullness, you can gently pull your thumb in the centre of a petal, making them more curved.
