Tableware is the new series from Studio About, which consists of colourful water glasses, wineglasses and a ceramic set. This ceramic cup is one of the news in the series CLAYWARE. This ceramic cup is made from the most beautiful terracotta-coloured clay, and the inside is glazed with a red glaze, whereas the exterior is unglazed. This gives the cup a raw and stylish expression, perfect for table arrangements.
The ceramic cup comes in a set of two, and is perfect for coffee, tea or other drinks. It is also the perfect gift to treat yourself with or as a nice hostess gift.
The expression of the ceramic cup with the raw terracotta on the outside and the red glaze on the inside gives the cup a raw and elegant look. The smaller base of the cup makes it more airy and lighter in its expression. The brown and red colours of the ceramic cup makes it perfect to set the coffee table, and it will give your table arrangement a small pop of colour, which makes it more lively and festive. You can combine the ceramic cup with the ceramic plates, ceramic bowls or cups from the same series in the same colour or in the three other colour combinations to complete the perfect table arrangement.
The smaller base makes the cup stackable, thus making it easy to have on display.
The ceramic cup can easily be cleaned with soap and water but is also dishwasher proof. The cup is made from terracotta, which has been fired in a kiln, and can therefore endure boiling water and freezer temperatures. The cup can get traces of usage because of its unglazed exterior. This is part of the design and will only give the cup character.
The ceramic cup is available in the colours IVORY/YELLOW, SAND/GREY and TERRAOTTA/ LIGHT BLUE and is also available as plates and bowls.
