DESCRIPTION
Peony is part of a series of 4 paper flowers in 8 different colors from Studio About. The flowers were designed by the artist Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor. The flower head is mounted on a long, bendable green stem, which can be shaped as needed. Peony, available in the colors Aubergine and Nude.
USE PAPER FLOWERS IN THE DECOR
Use the paper flowers individually or put them together for bouquets. You can use your paper flowers in the same way you would use the natural flower. The difference is that your paper flower lasts forever and does not need water. If you combine your paper flowers with ordinary flowers, remember to protect the part of the flower's stem that is in water.
USE THE FLOWERS CREATIVELY
In addition to the decorative properties of paper flowers, they are also both versatile and long-lasting. We have collected some inspiration for those of you who would like to use the paper flowers in different ways - either in your decor, on the table or as accessories. If the urge for renewal arises, the flowers can be reused in new creative projects.
Here are our ideas:
1. Wrap the paper flower around your napkin and serve a plateful of floral happiness to your guests.
2. Mix paper flowers with fresh flowers (but remember to protect the paper stem from water).
3. Use the paper flowers as a colorful eye-catcher on the table, for example in a candle holder.
4. Treat your friend to a stem or two as a hostess gift.
5. Decorate your gifts with a paper flower.
6. Decorate your tree or spruce branches with the flowers.
7. Make candle cuffs like in the 90s for decoration for your candle or our oil candles.
The paper flowers fit in both small and large vases, as the stem can be bent and shaped - bend the stem a few times and use it in a small Standing Bubble or leave it in all its splendor in the tall cylinder vase Flower Tube .
WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE FLOWERS
The fine paper flowers are delivered in a small cardboard tube that protects the flower when it is not in use. You decide the look of your flower yourself, should it be fully sprouted or in bud.
Follow these 3 steps to fully unfold it:
- Carefully grasp the flower head down in the box and pull it out.
- Spread out the petals of the flower.
- To create more volume, you can gently drag your thumb in the middle of a petal, this way they will be more curved.
You can also leave a single or two flowers closed as if the flower were in bud, it gives a very natural look.
