DESCRIPTION
The paper flower clematis is a handmade crepe flower.
The flower was designed in collaboration with influencer and designer Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor. This is the 3rd collection of flowers from the collaboration between Kristina and Studio About.
In addition to clematis, there are many other flower varieties, e.g. African Lilly, Grand Dahlia, Ice Poppy, Palm, Morning Glory and Pampas.
The Clematis flower is made of through-dyed aubergine colored crepe paper, but is also available in a light purple variant. The flower is inspired by the large-flowering clematis Jackmanii, which enriches Danish gardens at the end of summer.
USE CLEMATIS PAPER FLOWERS IN THE DECOR
Use the paper flowers individually or put them together for bouquets. You can use your paper flowers in the same way as you use natural flowers. The difference is that your paper flower lasts forever and does not need water.
You can easily combine your paper flower with fresh flowers, but remember to protect the stem from water, either by folding it up or placing it in a small plastic tube.
Crepe paper flowers are also beautiful as part of your own styling and perfect as a gift for someone you care about.
BE CREATIVE WITH THE FLOWERS
In addition to the decorative properties of paper flowers, they are also both versatile and long-lasting. We have collected some inspiration for those of you who would like to use the paper flowers in different ways - either in your decor, on the table or as accessories. And if the urge for renewal arises, the flowers can be reused in new creative projects.
1. Wrap the paper flower around your napkin and serve a plateful of floral happiness to your guests.
2. Mix paper flowers with fresh flowers (but remember to protect the paper stem from water).
3. Use the paper flowers as a colorful eye-catcher in a dried bouquet.
4. Treat your friend to a stem or two as a hostess gift.
5. Decorate your gifts with a paper flower.
6. Place them on the table as part of your table setting.
7. Make candle cuffs that are beautiful for decorating a candle.
The paper flowers have a bendable stem, and therefore fit in both small and large vases - bend the stem a few times and use it in a small Standing Bubble or let it stand in all its glory in the tall cylinder vase Flower Tube .
UNPACKING
The fine paper flowers are delivered in a small cardboard tube that protects the flower when it is not in use. You decide the look of your flower yourself, should it be fully sprouted or in bud.
Follow these 3 steps to fully unfold it:
- Carefully grasp the flower head at the bottom of the box and pull it out.
- Spread out the petals of the flower.
- To create more volume, you can gently drag your thumb in the middle of a petal, this way they will be more curved.
