Branch Grande is inspired by Oxalis vulcanicola, which is known for its burgundy leaves, where this version makes it available in a beautiful rose colour. Branch Grande is a whole new type of paper flower as a part of the fourth collection made in collaboration between Studio About and the paper artist Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor
Branch Grande is a single-colour paper flower made of crepe paper wrapped around a long adjustable stalk. The branch can be shaped as you please. Both ends are decorated with clover resembling leaves and can therefore easily be used laying.
The branch is for providing a more creatively open option for styling. It can be used as the classic paper flowers by being folded in the middle and thereby giving some extra life to a bouquet. It can also be folded together on the ends, creating a wreath or simply hung on the wall as a naturalistic decorative object.
Your branch can be used as a single piece or be put together with other flowers - both regular and other paper flowers - for making bouquets. You can use it as you would use regular branches where this one has the extra quality of being able to be tangled around objects such as threads, poles, and lamps if you don't want to put it in a vase.
The discreet rose colour on this version of Branch Grande makes it easy to use on several occasions where you wish to decorate with a larger paper flower. Like other paper flowers, Branch Grande can also be used in a bouquet, as mentioned. Folding it in the middle will essentially give you two flowers that might stand a little taller than the other flowers in the bouquet - adding some extra height.
In addition to the decorative properties of paper flowers, they are also versatile and long-lasting. We have gathered some inspiration for you, who want to use the paper flowers in different ways - either in your decor, on the table or as accessories. And if the urge for a change arises, the flowers can be reused in new creative projects.
The Branch Grande has a flexible stem and will fit in both small and large vases - bend the stem a few times and use it in a small Standing Bubble or leave it in all its glory in the tall cylinder vase Flower Tube.
When you receive the flower, you need to unfold the leaves yourself. You can choose whether the flower should be fully open or slightly more closed.
The crepe paper is also easily shaped and if you gently rub the thumb into a leaf, you can give the leaf a slight rounding. This way you can give your flowers a personal look and they will be livelier and truer to nature.
