CUP – TERRACOTTA/BLUE

STUDIO ABOUT’s CUP is part of the ceramic series CLAYWARE and is presented here in the colour combination Terracotta/Blue – one of three available variants. The cup is glazed on the inside with a light blue glaze, while the exterior preserves the raw, natural clay. The ceramic cups are sold in sets of 2 and are suitable for coffee, tea and other hot drinks – both for everyday use and more festive occasions.
 

COFFEE CUP WITH CALM AND CHARACTER

The raw ceramic cup has a simple and elegant expression, where the unglazed exterior adds character and gives a calm, honest look to your cup shelf. The cup is ideal for table settings and can easily be combined in different ways depending on what it is paired with. Mix the two cups in the set with other cups from your cupboard, or combine them with other colours from the CLAYWARE series to create a more lively and personal table setting.

The cups are designed with a subtly tapered base, making them easy to stack in a cupboard or drawer, while the shape adds character to the table setting.

CLEANING AND MATERIAL

The ceramic is approved for food use, including acidic foods. The cup can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap and is suitable for the dishwasher, freezer and microwave. The cup is not suitable for oven use.
The cup is made from natural clay, which means that the unglazed parts will develop a patina over time, and variations may occur due to the firing process. This is a natural part of the material’s character and contributes to each product’s unique expression.

The ceramic cup is also available in the colours Terracotta/Red, Ivory/Light Yellow and Sand/Grey, and can be found as matching plates and bowls.
