TABLEWARE is the latest collection from Studio About. This lunch plate is part of the CLAYWARE series and comes in the color TERRACOTTA/RED in a medium size. It is partially glazed, preserving the raw terracotta clay on the outside, while the inside of the plate is glazed in a vibrant red color. The plate comes in a set of 2, making it the perfect housewarming gift or a colorful addition to your plate collection.

 

STYLISH AND BOLD LUNCH PLATE

The color combination of the plate creates a stylish and bold expression with the dark brown terracotta and the bright postbox red. This gives it a raw and retro look that will liven up any table setting, making it festive and exciting to look at. You can also place a paper flower on the plate or combine it with other colored ceramics and glass for the ultimate festive atmosphere. For example, the plate pairs beautifully with our pink wine glasses from the GLASSWARE series.

The lunch plate can be used for smaller meals, snacks, or cakes. When not in use, it can be stacked, or you can display it on a table or shelf as part of your decor. You could use it, for instance, to place jewelry, perfumes, or other small items.

 

CLEANING

The plate is easy to clean with warm water and soap, but it is also dishwasher-safe. Additionally, it can withstand being in the freezer and microwave, but not the oven. The ceramics are food-safe, including for acidic foods. The plate is made of terracotta, which means the unglazed parts may develop a patina over time. This is part of the design and will add character to the plate.

The ceramic plate also comes in the colors IVORY/YELLOW, TERRACOTTA/LIGHT BLUE, and SAND/GREY, and is also available as bowls and mugs.
