The most beautiful bowl in terracotta with a red glaze. The bowl is part of the CLAYWARE series from the new TABLEWARE collection from Studio About. It is partially glazed so that the raw terracotta is maintained on the outside and the inside is glazed. This creates a tactile and luxurious feel when you use the bowl. The bowl comes in a set of two and is therefore the perfect addition to your bowl collection or as a housewarming present.
A BEAUTIFUL EYE CATCHER
The two-coloured bowl gives an exquisite and playful expression. It is with its combination of red and dark-red colours a raw and retro alternative to the classic white bowl. It can give your table arrangement a refreshing breath of fresh air as a “pop of colour” or be a beautiful and colourful eye catcher in a still life; you can for example create a still life by filling the bowl with candy and place it on top of a decorative book with a candle next to it. This way, the bowl is used as part of the home décor and creates an inviting and homely still life. The bowl is perfect for a modern and youthful bedroom and can be used as a creative way to store jewellery, or it can be part of a stylish and luxurious table arrangement for a dinner party. You can also create a contrasted expression with coloured glass.
The bowl can naturally be used for your daily meals, fruits and snacks.
The ceramic bowl can easily be cleaned with water and soap. It is furthermore suitable for dishwasher, microwave and freezer but is not oven safe. It can be stacked to safe space. The ceramic is safe for food, including acidic foods. The bowl is made out of terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts will get traces of usage over time. This is part of the design and will only add character to the bowl.
The ceramic bowl is available in the colours IVORY/YELLOW, SAND/GREY and TERRAOTTA/BLUE and is also available as plates and cups.
