DESCRIPTION

Clematis is a handmade crepe flower. The flower is part of a series of paper flowers from Studio About made in collaboration with artist and influencer Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor.

2nd collection of the paper flowers is available in 7 different models, a total of 14 different colors. This flower is a light purple clematis, made from crepe paper. The Clematis version is also available in the color aubergine . It is inspired by the beautiful large-flowering clematis Jackmanii, which blooms gracefully in Danish gardens at the end of summer.

USE PAPER FLOWERS IN THE DECOR

Use the paper flowers individually or put them together for bouquets. You can use your paper flowers in the same way you would use the natural flower. The difference is that your paper flower lasts forever and does not need water. If you choose to combine your paper flower with ordinary flowers, remember to protect the part of the flower that is in water.

Crepe paper flowers are also beautiful as part of your own styling and perfect as a gift for a loved one.

USE THE FLOWERS CREATIVELY

In addition to the decorative properties of paper flowers, they are also both versatile and long-lasting. We have collected some inspiration for those of you who would like to use the paper flowers in different ways - either in your decor, on the table or as accessories.

1. Wrap the paper flower around your napkin and serve a plateful of floral happiness to your guests.
2. Mix paper flowers with fresh flowers (but remember to protect the paper stem from water).
3. Use the paper flowers as a colorful eye-catcher in a dried bouquet.
4. Treat your friend to a stem or two as a hostess gift.
5. Decorate your gifts with a paper flower.
6. Use the flowers individually or put them together for bouquets.
7. Make a beautiful flower wreath for the hair with paper flowers.

The paper flowers have a bendable stem, and therefore fit in both small and large vases - bend the stem a few times and use it in a small Standing Bubble or let it stand in all its splendor in the tall cylinder vase Flower Tube .

WHEN YOU UNPACK YOUR PAPER FLOWERS

The paper flowers from Studio About are handmade and gently folded in the small box. When you receive the flower, you must therefore unfold the leaves yourself. You can choose whether the flower should be completely open or slightly more closed.

The crepe paper is easy to shape and if you gently rub your thumb into a leaf you can give the leaf a small roundness. In this way, you can give your flowers a personal expression and they become more lively and lifelike.

Follow these 3 steps to fully unfold it:

  1. Carefully grasp the flower head at the bottom of the box and pull it out.
  2. Spread out the petals of the flower.
  3. To create more volume, you can gently draw your thumb in the center of a petal, this way they will be more curved.

Let the a flower or two be slightly closed in, so that it looks like a flower in bud.
