Grand Dahlia in nude colour is from the third collection of Studio About's paper flowers designed by Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor.
The paper flowers are made from coloured crepe paper attached to a flexible wire wrapped in green paper, that you can shape however you like and make it fit in both large and small vases.
This Grand Dahlia is inspired by the beautiful dahlias known for blooming late in the summer - found in a great variety of colours.
THE GRAND DAHLIA IN YOUR HOME
The Grand Dahlia can be used as a single flower in a vase because of its volume. However, it can also play a larger role in a bouquet made of either more paper flowers or regular flowers. If you wish to combine your paper flowers with regular flowers, make sure to protect them from any water.
These crepe paper flowers can also be used for your personal attire or as a gift for your loved ones.
CREATIVITY WITH PAPER FLOWERS
In addition to the decorative properties of paper flowers, they are also both versatile and long-lasting. We have gathered some inspiration for you, who want to use the paper flowers in different ways - either in your decor, on the table or as accessories. If the urge for renewal arises, the flowers can be reused in new creative projects:
Wrap the paper flower around your napkin and serve a plateful of flower happiness to your guests.
Mix paper flowers with fresh flowers (but remember to protect the paper stalk from water).
Use the paper flowers as a colourful eye-catcher on the table, for example in a candle cuff.
Treat your girlfriend to a stalk or two as a hostess gift.
Decorate your gifts with a paper flower.
Decorate your tree or spruce branches with flowers.
Make candle cuffs like in the 90s for decoration for your candle or our oil candle.
The paper flowers fit in both small and large vases, as the stem can be bent and shaped - bend the stem a few times and use it in a small Standing Bubble or leave it in all its glory in the tall cylinder vase Flower Tube.
WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE FLOWERS
The fine paper flowers are delivered in a small paper tube that protects the flower when not in use. You decide the look of your flower. Should it be completely sprouted or bud?
Follow these 3 steps to unfold it completely:
Carefully grab the flower head down in the box and pull it out.
Spread the petals of the flower.
To create more fullness, gently pull your thumb in the middle of a petal, that way they become more curved.
You can also leave a single or two flowers closed as was the flower in bud. It adds a very natural look.
