The FRAMELESS collection from Studio About is a series of transparent acrylic picture frames. This frame consists of a transparent acrylic front and back. 2 chicago screws hold the frame together and make it easy to change the motif. The frame is easily hung directly in one of the hollow screws.

COLORED ACRYLIC FRAMES

Here, the acrylic frame is available in a round version in a beautiful and warm light brown colour, which fits naturally into the Nordic decor. The colored back of the frame creates a nice passe-partout around your artwork and with its simple, stylish design, the frame gives an almost floating effect. The transparent frame fits a poster in A4 size, but with the round shape, there are also many opportunities to use the frame creatively.

A colored picture frame is an easy way to add color and personality to the interior. If you want to take advantage of the transparency of the frame and use it in a creative way, you can experiment with other types of art such as paper cuts, collages and pressed flowers and leaves. Mix your transparent frame with other types of frames and create a beautiful picture wall that means something to you.

PLAY WITH REFLECTIONS, LIGHT AND SHADOW

As with the other collections from Studio About, the plan is to play and innovate with classic objects. Therefore, try hanging the frames in your window and let the light play with the beautiful earth color and your chosen motif. The motif does not have to have standard dimensions, it just has to be made of thin material. For example, you can experiment with mohair yarn in different shades or fold a completely flat flower out of crepe paper. Only the imagination sets the limits.

VARIANTS

The series of acrylic frames is available in many different colors and in most standard sizes such as A5, A4, A3, A2 and B2. In addition, there are also 2 round frames in the collection. The frame itself will form a passepartout around your motif.

CLEANING

You can easily dust off the frame with a cloth or polish it with ordinary glass cleaner.

The FRAMELESS picture frames are available in many different sizes and colors and also have UV protection, which prevents discolouration of your motifs from sunlight.

The FRAMELESS series was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, who is one half of the creative duo behind Studio About.

UNPACKING

The frames are supplied with a clear film on the front and back, so that the frame is not scratched or scratched during transport.

• You open the frame by unscrewing the screws, one at the top and one at the bottom.
• Place your motif between the two sheets of acrylic. Screw the screws back on.
• Peel off the film on the front and back, use glass cleaner if the frame gets greasy.
• Hang the frame.

The frame has a colored back and a transparent front, but you can flip it however you want.
