The FRAMELESS collection from Studio About is a series of transparent acrylic picture frames. The frame consists of a transparent front and back in acrylic. Brass screws hold the frame together and make it easy to change the motif. The frame is easily hung directly in one of the hollow screws.

Here you can get the transparent frame in a nice and stylish pale blue color that fits an A2 motif. The frame creates a light and floating effect around the subject and gives your artwork the full attention. With the picture frame's stylish design, it fits naturally into the Nordic decor and fits both the colorful and more minimalist art.

CREATIVE DECORATION WITH COLORED FRAMES

In addition to posters and photos, the acrylic frames can also be used creatively in interior design and on the picture wall. Use the frame with dried flowers and leaves, paper clips or handmade collages and easily create a personal work of art. Hang the picture frame in a mix with other types of frames and art and let the eye explore.

As with the other collections from Studio About, the plan is to play and innovate with classic objects. Therefore, try hanging the frames in your window and let the light play with the beautiful blue color and your chosen motif. The motif does not have to have standard dimensions, it just has to be made of thin material. You can, for example, experiment with mohair yarn in different shades or fold a completely flat flower out of crepe paper. Only the imagination sets the limits.

VARIANTS

The series of acrylic frames is available in many different colors and in most standard sizes such as A5, A4, A3, A2 and B2. In addition, there are also 2 round frames in the collection. The frame itself will form a passepartout around your motif.

CLEANING

You can easily dust off the frame with a cloth or polish it with ordinary glass cleaner.

The front of the frame has UV protection that protects your artwork from discoloration from the sun.

The FRAMELESS series was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, who is one half of the creative duo behind Studio About.

UNPACKING

The frames are supplied with a clear film on the front and back, so that the frame is not scratched or scratched during transport.

• You open the frame by unscrewing the screws, one at the top and one at the bottom.
• Place your motif between the two sheets of acrylic. Screw the screws back on.
• Peel off the film on the front and back, use glass cleaner if the frame gets greasy.
• Hang the frame.

The frame has a colored back and a transparent front, but you can flip it however you want.
