The FRAMELESS collection from Studio About is a series of transparent acrylic picture frames. The frame consists of a transparent front and a faintly colored transparent back in amber. Two golden chicago screws hold the frame together and make it easy to change the motif. The picture frame is easily hung directly on the top screw, alternatively you can insert a fishing line.

CREATE A PERSONAL PICTURE WALL

Transparent picture frames are beautiful in the interior and give the motif a light and floating expression. The acrylic frames are a good choice if you want to create variety on your picture wall, and with the colored back it is easy to decorate with your favorite colours. Whether you choose to work with a tone-on-tone look or create contrast between frame and subject, the amber-colored frame here adds an extra dimension to the traditional picture frame.

The transparency provides many opportunities to use the picture frame creatively in the interior design. The frame is available in both small and large standard sizes, and is therefore an obvious choice for both photos and posters. In addition to the classic motifs, the picture frames also invite you to decorate creatively - for example, try the frame with paper clips, collages or pressed flowers. It gives a different expression and adds personality to the picture wall. The front of the frame is in transparent acrylic and your motif will therefore only have a colored background.

COLORED FRAMES

The amber backing is subdued in color, so it won't be overpowering, but will instead highlight your art. The acrylic frames are available in all standard sizes, A5, A4, A3, A2 and B2, as well as 2 round variants that fit A5 and A4 formats. The frames are available in 7 different colours, including transparent.

The FRAMELESS series was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, who is one half of the creative duo behind Studio About.

CLEANING

You can easily dust off the frame with a cloth or polish it with ordinary glass cleaner.

You may find that the acrylic can bend slightly due to tension in the material, but you can easily correct this by turning the acrylic sheets so that they are facing each other.
