The FRAMELESS collection from Studio About is a series of transparent acrylic picture frames.

This frame consists of a transparent front and a transparent back in light smoke colored acrylic. 2 chicago screws in brass hold the frame together and make it easy to change the motif. The frame is easily hung directly in one of the hollow screws.

DECORATED WITH COLORS

The acrylic frame is available here with a beautiful smoke colored back and in a size that fits an A3 motif. The beautiful smoke colored frame acts as a passepartout for your poster and adds an extra dimension to the framing. The smoky tone is here to stay in our interior design and can be used both in bright Nordic homes and in homes with a greater variety of colours.

With the transparency of the picture frame, you can experiment with a tone-on-tone expression, a delicate pastel motif or a nice contrasting colour.

FRAMES WITH OPPORTUNITIES

The series of transparent frames is available in most standard sizes, and it is therefore easy to get a personal and different frame for your posters and photos. So far, we have frames for motifs in sizes A5, A4, A3, A2 and B2 - as well as two round frames for A5 and A4.

The acrylic frame is a good choice for the personal picture wall, as it offers plenty of opportunities for many different types of decoration - try the frame with a handmade paper cut, a collage or bring nature inside with pressed flowers and leaves. Break the clean straight lines with an organic motif, it gives it a nice visual effect.

CLEANING

You can easily dust off the frame with a cloth or polish it with ordinary glass cleaner.

You may find that the acrylic can bend slightly due to tension in the material, but you can easily correct this by turning the acrylic sheets so that they are facing each other.

The FRAMELESS series was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, who is one half of the creative duo behind Studio About.

UNPACKING

The frames are supplied with a clear film on the front and back, so that the frame is not scratched or scratched during transport.

• You open the frame by unscrewing the screws, one at the top and one at the bottom.
• Place your motif between the two sheets of acrylic. Screw the screws back on.
• Peel off the film on the front and back, use glass cleaner if the frame gets greasy.
• Hang the frame.

The frame has a colored back and a transparent front, but you can flip it however you want.

We send all orders with GLS, and as a private customer you will typically receive your item within 1-3 working days. We also offer free delivery on all orders over DKK 499, regardless of order size. You will receive a tracking number from us as soon as your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.
