The FRAMELESS collection from Studio About is a series of transparent acrylic picture frames. The frame consists of a transparent front and a colored transparent back in acrylic. 2 brass screws hold the frame together and make it easy to change the motif. The frame is easily hung directly in one of the hollow screws.

The transparent frame is available here in a nice and stylish smoke-coloured version. The frame fits an A2 poster, and makes it easy to get a different and personal framing for your larger works of art. With its simple design, the picture frame fits naturally into the Nordic decor, and the beautiful clear smoke-coloured back provides a nice visual effect around your artwork.

DECORATE YOURSELF CREATIVELY

It is obvious to use the frame for your various posters and photos, but you can also take advantage of the transparency of the acrylic frame and create your own personal work of art with handmade paper clips, creative collages, an exhibition of your child's fine drawings or you can experiment with a small work of art made of yarn .

Mix different types of frames and art and create a beautiful picture wall where the eye can explore. If you buy one of the beautiful frames with a colored back, it is obvious to use it as part of your existing picture wall. By choosing frames of different materials, you can express your personal style and make the picture wall both exciting and inspiring.

VARIANTS

The series of acrylic frames is available in many different colors and in most standard sizes, including A5, A4, A3, A2 and B2. In addition, there are two round frames that fit motifs in A5 and A4 size.

The two small brass screws that hold the frame together are hollow, and you can therefore easily hang the frame directly on a nail. You can also take advantage of the frame's transparency and hang it in a window where the light can play with it.

CLEANING

You can easily dust off the frame with a cloth or polish it with ordinary glass cleaner.

The front of the frame has UV protection, which protects your artwork from discoloration from the sun.

The FRAMELESS series was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, who is one half of the creative duo behind Studio About.

UNPACKING

The frames are supplied with a clear film on the front and back, so that the frame is not scratched or scratched during transport.

• You open the frame by unscrewing the screws, one at the top and one at the bottom.
• Place your motif between the two sheets of acrylic. Screw the screws back on.
• Peel off the film on the front and back, use glass cleaner if the frame gets greasy.
• Hang the frame.

The frame has a colored back and a transparent front, but you can flip it however you want.
