The FRAMELESS collection from Studio About is a series of transparent acrylic picture frames. The frame consists of a transparent front and back in acrylic. 2 chicago screws hold the frame together and make it easy to change the motif. The frame is easily hung directly in one of the hollow screws.

Here you can get the series' largest acrylic frame, suitable for a poster of 500 X 700 MM. The front is transparent and the back here is slightly purple. The frame itself measures 560 X 800 MM, so there is also flexibility if you should have a poster that varies slightly from the standard dimensions.

FURNISHED WITH ACRYLIC FRAMES

With a transparent front and faint purple back, the picture frame has a timeless and stylish design that fits naturally into the decor, regardless of whether you are into colors or have a penchant for the more neutral Nordic look.

The transparency gives a light and floating expression and can be used with both posters, photographs and unique works. If you want to use the frame creatively, you can achieve a nice visual effect with paper clips, collages, pressed leaves and flowers that, with their organic shapes, break the clean straight lines and create variety, for example on the picture wall.

PLAY WITH REFLECTIONS

Light and shadow mean a lot to our interior design and these are elements that Studio About often includes in its design processes. Place your large frame in a window and let the light play with your subject. Or place the light frame on a sideboard and use it as part of a still life. As the frame itself measures 560 mm x 800 mm, a beautiful passe-partout will form around your subject, in which the sun will shine through.

CLEANING

You can easily dust off the frame with a cloth or polish it with ordinary glass cleaner.

You may find that the acrylic can bend slightly due to tension in the material, but you can easily correct this by turning the acrylic sheets so that they are facing each other. The front of the frame has UV protection, which protects your artwork from discoloration from the sun.

The FRAMELESS series was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, who is one half of the creative duo behind Studio About.

UNPACKING

The frames are supplied with a clear film on the front and back, so that the frame is not scratched or scratched during transport.

• You open the frame by unscrewing the screws, one at the top and one at the bottom.
• Place your motif between the two sheets of acrylic. Screw the screws back on.
• Peel off the film on the front and back, use glass cleaner if the frame gets greasy.
• Hang the frame.

The frame has a colored back and a transparent front, but you can flip it however you want.
