TABLEWARE is the newest collection from Studio About. This lunch plate is part of the CLAYWARE series and is in the color TERRACOTTA/RED in size medium. It is partially glazed so that the raw terracotta clay is preserved on the outside, and the inside of the plate is glazed in a bright red color. The plate was designed by Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen and comes in a set of 2. It is therefore the perfect housewarming gift or a colorful addition to your plate collection.
BEAUTIFUL AND NICE BREAKFAST PLATE
The plate's color combination gives a nice and cheeky look with the dark brown terracotta and mailbox red color. It gives a raw and retro look that will enliven any table setting and make it festive and exciting to look at. You can also put a paper flower on the plate or combine the plate with other colored ceramics and colored glass for the ultimate festive atmosphere. The plate, for example, is beautiful with our pink wine glasses from the GLASSWARE series.
The lunch plate can be used for smaller meals, snacks or cakes. When it is not in use, it can be stacked or you can have it standing out front on a table or shelf as part of the decor. Here you can, for example, put jewellery, perfumes or other trinkets on it.
CLEANING
The plate is easy to clean with warm water and soap, but is also suitable for the dishwasher. In addition, it can withstand being in the freezer and the microwave, but not in the oven. The ceramics are approved for food, including acid-based foods. The plate is made of terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts can patina over time. This is part of the design and will simply give the plate character.
The ceramic plate also comes in the colors IVORY/YELLOW, TERRAOTTA/LIGHT BLUE and SAND/GREY, and is also available as bowls and mugs.
