Beautiful dinner plate in the color TERRACOTTA/BLUE. The plate is part of the ceramic set CLAYWARE from Studio About's new TABLEWARE collection and is a refreshing interpretation of the classic dinner set. This ceramic plate is two-tone with a partial glaze, so the raw terracotta clay is preserved on the outside, while the inside of the plate is glazed in a light dove blue color, creating a beautiful contrast. The plate comes in a set of 2. and is therefore perfect as a housewarming gift or birthday present.
CERAMIC PLATE FOR A FESTIVE TABLE SETTING
The plate's partial glazing gives a tactile and luxurious feeling and the sensation of good work in the hands. The design is simple and timeless with the large surface that curves up into a wide edge, but the color combination makes the plate playful and inspiring, which means that it fits into a classic, stylish home as well as a modern and colorful interior. You can combine the plate with other color combinations from the CLAYWARE collection or combine it with other materials such as colored glass for a lighter and contrasting look. You can also place a paper flower wrapped around a napkin as a napkin ring on the plate to make your table setting even more festive.
The dinner plate is the perfect size for a larger meal or as a smaller serving dish for e.g. salads, fruit or cakes. It can be stacked, which makes it practical in the kitchen, but it is also decorative to have standing out front on an open shelf.
CLEANING
The ceramic plate can be cleaned with warm water and soap, but is also suitable for the dishwasher. In addition, it can be used in the microwave and freezer, but is not suitable for the oven. The ceramics are approved for food, including acid-based foods. The plate is made of terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts can patina over time. This is part of the design and will simply give the plate character.
The dinner plate also comes in the colors IVORY/YELLOW, TERRAOTTA/RED and SAND/GREY, and is also available as bowls and mugs.
