CLAYWARE is a tableware series consisting of lunch plates, dinner plates, mugs and bowls in ceramics in the most beautiful colours. This bowl is in terracotta with a dove blue glaze, which creates the most beautiful contrast. The outside of the bowl is unglazed so the terracotta clay appears raw, to which the inside is glazed. The bowl comes in a set of 2 and was designed by Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen.
DOVE BLUE CERAMICS
The ceramic bowl has a simple and minimalist design, but with the contrasting color combination of the pleasant dove blue color and the dark terracotta, it is a refreshing interpretation of the classic bowl. The unglazed exterior of the bowl gives a tactile and luxurious feeling in the hands. The bowl is beautiful to give edge to white and stylish surroundings or it can be used for a retro and colorful table setting. The bowl is also incredibly beautiful combined with, for example, our green wine or water glasses, which create a harmonious and pleasant play of colours. You can also assemble the entire ceramic frame in the same color as the bowl for a complete expression.
With its fine size, the bowl is the perfect serving bowl for your breakfast or for snacks, fruit or desserts. It can be stacked to save space, but is also decorative to have standing out front as part of the decor.
CLEANING
The bowl can go in the dishwasher, but can also be easily cleaned with warm water and soap. In addition, it can be used in the microwave and freezer, but is not suitable for the oven. The ceramics are approved for food, including acid-based foods. The bowl is made of terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts can patina over time. This is part of the design and will simply give the bowl character.
The ceramic bowl also comes in the colors IVORY/YELLOW, TERRAOTTA/RED and SAND/GREY, and is also available as plates and mugs.
