The TABLEWARE collection is the newest collection from Studio About, and consists of colored water and wine glasses, as well as a ceramic stem. This lunch plate is part of the ceramic set CLAYWARE and is in the color SAND/GREY. The plate is partially glazed so the clay is raw on the outside and the inside is glazed with a gray glaze. This creates a naked and luxurious look, while providing a special tactile feeling in the hands. The bowl comes in a set of 2. and is therefore the perfect housewarming gift or hostess gift.
TIMELESS CERAMIC PLATE
The plate has a stylish and elegant design with a completely flat bottom and a low edge. The sand-coloured, raw clay and the gray glaze give the plate a luxurious look. The ceramics give the feeling of good craftsmanship and good quality, which makes the plate timeless and delicious in its expression. With the harmonious and timeless color combination, the plate is therefore the perfect plate for the minimalist and classic home. You can also combine the plate with a ceramic frame in other colors or colored glass for easier expression. The plate is a nice size for lunch, snacks or small cakes, but you can also use it to display your jewellery.
CLEANING
The plate can be cleaned with warm water and soap, but can also be put in the dishwasher. In addition, it can be used in the microwave and freezer, but is unsuitable for the oven. The lunch plate is made of natural clay, which means that the unglazed exterior can patina over time. This is part of the design and will simply give the plate character. The ceramics are approved for food, including acid-based foods.
The ceramic plate also comes in the colors IVORY/YELLOW, TERRAOTTA/LIGHT BLUE and TERRACOTTA/RED, and is also available as bowls and mugs.
Studio About is a Danish design studio. The TABLEWARE collection was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen.
