The collection OIL BUBBLES are made from solid-coloured glass and consists of a round glass bubble that floats on a coloured glass base. The collection consists of 9 colour combinations and 2 different heights: blue/yellow, amber/rose, yellow/blue, smoke/smoke, rose/green, blue/blue, rose/rose, yellow/yellow and green/green. Every combination of the colours creates a unique touch to the home décor. This Oil Bubble has a lovely yellow bubble that rests on a glass base in the same yellow colour. The oil candles are designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen.
The oil candle is filled with lamp oil with the enclosed funnel.

The beautiful Oil Bubble is with its refreshing yellow colour decorative in itself, but is also beautiful combined with other colour combinations from the Oil Bubble collection. The different colour combinations give a breath of fresh air and will fit into every Nordic, minimalistic home as well as a home with more colours and styles. All the colour combinations are designed so that they complement each other elegantly. You can also combine the oil candle with other types of coloured glass, for example our glass vases Standing Bubble or Flower Tube. It is also decorative to mix different types of materials, for example ceramics or metal for a contrasted look. The round, organic shape of the Oil Bubble rests on a coloured glass base, which brings lightness and elegance to the home and will therefore create a lovely still life. When you lit the candle, the light from the flame will flow beautifully through the coloured glass and create an enchanting play of colour.

The oil candles are mouth blown and made from solid-coloured borosilicate glass, which is a special type of glass that endures high changes of temperatures, which means that they do not explode when lit. The material is also scratch resistant so that the oil candle will keep its beautiful appearance over time.
There will be no cleaning of wax from tables or tablecloths since the oil candles only use oil.
The oil candle can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap.
Oil and wicks are crucial for the burn time of the oil candles and therefore, we have tested several different lamp oils to find the best oil for these particular glass candles. We recommend using the lamp oil from the brand Alaska or Borup. These oils are normal lamp oils, which are free from odour and does not soot. The oil from Alaska is suitable for indoor use.
A full candle can burn consistently for an average of 25 hours depending on the type of oil.
NB It is crucial that you do not split the wick, as the candle will burn increasingly worse. There is always 1 extra wick included in the package.
Place the wick in the little glass tube.
Add oil using the enclosed funnel.
Dab the top of the wick with a drop of oil from the funnel. Let about 3-5 mm of the wick peep out so the flame does not become too powerful and soot.
Extinguish the candle as you usually do by blowing it out or using a candle extinguisher.
