PAPER FLOWER, DAHLIA, RED, 120430R

The Dahlia paper flower is designed in collaboration with Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor. It is one out of a series of four paper flowers in eight different colours from Studio About. The flower is crafted from solid-coloured crepe paper and mounted on a long, flexible stem. The Dahlia flower is available in two versions, this one is red and there’s a yellow option too. Besides Dahlia, you can find other variants Poppy, Peony and Daisy in the collection of paper flowers.

USE DAHLIA PAPER FLOWERS IN YOUR DÉCOR

Dahlia blooms during later summer and early autumn and a vase holding Dahlia is a wonderful way to extend the summer feel.

Use the paper flowers individually or put them together into bouquets. You can use your paper flowers the same way you would use the natural flower. The difference is that your paper flower lasts forever and does not need water. If you choose to combine your paper flower with ordinary flowers, remember to protect the part of the flower in water.

BRING LIFE TO THE FLOWERS LIFE

The beautiful paper flowers from Studio About are shipped in a small cardboard tube that protects the flower when not in use. you decide the look of your flower. Do you want it in bloom or bud?

Follow these 3 steps to unfold it completely:

• Carefully grab the flower head down in the box and pull it out.
• Spread the petals of the flower.
• To create more fullness, you can gently pull your thumb in the centre of a petal, making them more curved.

You may also leave a single or two flowers closed as if the flower were in buds.
