The FRAMELESS collection from Studio About is a series of transparent picture frames in acrylic. The frame has a transparent front and a back in a faint transparent yellow colour. 2 Chicago screws hold the frame together and make it easy to change the motif. The frame is easily hung directly from one of the hollow screws.
Here is the series' largest acrylic frame, fitting a poster of 500x700 mm. The light-yellow back of the frame acts as a backdrop and frames your artwork in a light and elegant way without drawing any attention away from the artwork itself.
DECORATE WITH COLOURED PICTURE FRAMES
With the coloured frame, you can experiment with different expressions - create a tone-on-tone look with a motif in shades of blue or a colourful statement on your wall with a nice contrasting colour.
The series of acrylic frames are available in many different colours and in most standard sizes, so it is easy to use the frame with posters and lithographs. With the transparency of the frame, you can also achieve a beautiful effect by decorating using a handmade paper clip, a creative collage or slightly pressed flowers and leaves. Use the frame as part of your picture wall in combination with other types of frames and art.
A NEW TAKE ON THE CLASSIC PICTURE FRAME
Studio About plays and challenges the design of the classic switch frame with clips. The frameless frame can be used on the wall, but also encourages playing with new types of hangings in the window or free-floating in the room.

You may experience a light bend in the acrylic frame due to tension in the material, but you can easily correct this by turning the acrylic sheets so that the tension is reversed. The front of the frame has UV protection that protects your artwork from discolouration from the sun.
The FRAMELESS series is designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen - one half of the creative duo behind Studio About.
