CLAYWARE SERVING DISH – TERRACOTTA/RED 

SERVING DISH is part of Studio About’s CLAYWARE series.The dish is crafted from natural clay and features a raw, sand-coloured exterior, while the glazed interior in light grey adds calm contrast. A balanced colour combination that brings together an organic surface with a more graphic and minimal expression.

The dish is sold individually and designed with a low rim, making it ideal as a serving dish – both functional and aesthetic. SERVING DISH is also available in two colourways: SAND/GREY & TERRACOTTA/RED.
 

SERVING DISH is suitable for serving snacks, salads, smaller dishes or shared servings. The low profile makes the dish easy to use at the table and well suited for both everyday use and more composed table settings.

The dish can be part of a complete CLAYWARE table setting together with plates, bowls and cups – or used on its own as a simple, characterful element.

The warm terracotta/red colour combination adds energy and depth to the table setting and works naturally in both modern and more classic interiors. Use the dish alone as a bold statement or combine it with other colours from the series for a more lively and personal expression.

When not in use, the dish appears beautiful as a decorative object in an open cupboard or on a shelf.
 

CLEANING AND MATERIAL

The ceramic is approved for food use, including acidic foods. The serving dish can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap and is suitable for dishwasher, microwave and freezer use. The dish is not suitable for oven use.

The dish is made from natural clay, meaning the unglazed areas will patinate over time. This is a natural part of the material’s character and contributes to each product’s unique expression. Variations may occur due to the firing process.
