STUDIO ABOUT’s CUP is part of the ceramic series CLAYWARE and is presented here in the Ivory/Yellow colour combination – one of three available variants. The cup is fully glazed, featuring a calm ivory glaze on the exterior and a soft yellow glaze on the inside. A balanced colour combination that gives the cup a light and harmonious expression. The ceramic cups are sold in sets of 2 and are suitable for coffee, tea and other hot drinks – both for everyday use and more festive occasions.
 

COFFEE CUP WITH CALM AND CHARACTER

The soft colour palette gives the cup a calm and balanced expression, where the yellow glaze adds warmth and the ivory surface creates visual harmony. The cup fits naturally into a minimalist home, but can also be combined with other colours from the CLAYWARE series for a more personal table setting.

The cups are designed with a subtly tapered base, making them easy to stack in a cupboard or drawer, while the shape adds character to the table setting.
 

CLEANING AND MATERIAL

The ceramic is approved for food use, including acidic foods. The cup can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap and is suitable for the dishwasher, freezer and microwave. The cup is not suitable for oven use.
The cup is made from natural clay, which means that the unglazed parts will develop a patina over time, and variations may occur due to the firing process. This is a natural part of the material’s character and contributes to each product’s unique expression.

The ceramic cup is also available in the colours Terracotta/Red, Ivory/Light Yellow and Sand/Grey, , and can be found as matching plates and bowls.
