CUP – SAND/GREY

STUDIO ABOUT’s CUP is part of the ceramic series CLAYWARE and is presented here in the Sand/Grey colour combination – one of three available variants. The inside is glazed in a muted grey tone, while the exterior preserves the raw, natural clay in a soft sand colour. A calm and earthy combination that gives the cup a timeless and balanced expression. The ceramic cups are sold in sets of 2 and are suitable for coffee, tea and other hot drinks – both for everyday use and more festive occasions.

COFFEE CUP WITH CALM AND CHARACTER

Sand/Grey creates a subdued and natural expression where the material itself takes centre stage. The matte, unglazed exterior combined with the glazed interior creates a refined balance between raw and polished. The cup fits effortlessly into both minimalist and more personal table settings and can easily be combined with other colours from the CLAYWARE series.

The cups are designed with a subtly tapered base, making them easy to stack in a cupboard or drawer, while the shape adds calm and character to the table setting.

 

CLEANING AND MATERIAL

The ceramic is approved for food use, including acidic foods. The cup can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap and is suitable for the dishwasher, freezer and microwave. The cup is not suitable for oven use.
The cup is made from natural clay, which means that the unglazed parts will develop a patina over time, and variations may occur due to the firing process. This is a natural part of the material’s character and contributes to each product’s unique expression.

The ceramic cup is also available in the colours Terracotta/Red, Ivory/Light Yellow and Sand/Grey, and can be found as matching plates and bowls.
