We can hardly put our arms down! Our PAPERFLOWER collection vol. 2 has finally landed in the shop, and we are so proud to be able to present you with another collection in collaboration with our talented paper artist Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor.
In this collection, we have gone all in on colours, expressions and details. There are large palm leaves with bright tips, pampas-like grasses, large poppies, African lilies, clematis, snowdrops and large dahlias. A total of 7 new flowers in 14 different colours. The beautiful flowers can easily be mixed with our first collection, where you will find peonies, poppies and daisies, but are also beautiful in a bouquet on their own.

A look into the paper artist's workshop reveals Kristina's great fascination for the beauty of nature. “ I primarily find my inspiration in nature, which continues to fascinate and impress me with its wealth of detail and shades of color that you can forever strive to recreate. When I find a flower that I want to be inspired by, I usually press it in a flower press, and then use the leaves as templates ", says Kristina.
PAPER FLOWERS IN DELICIOUS QUALITY AND PERSONALITY
The PAPERFLOWER collection is made of a delicious and strong crepe paper. Crepe paper is a fantastic material with lots of possibilities to make the flowers extra realistic in expression. Give the paper flowers life and character by shaping the leaves, leaving some of the flower heads closed and bending the stems so that each flower has its own expression.
" I love to "geek" with the paper and the other materials - for example, I have just torn 5 different crayons into powder, which I have subsequently used to create pollen for lilies ", says Kristina.
USE THE PAPER FLOWERS CREATIVELY
At Studio About, we love when design gives room for experimentation in the interior, and with a flower that lasts (almost) forever, it is obvious to use the paper flowers for both bouquets and creative projects in the interior.
The paper flowers are beautiful in a large bouquet, and if you want a little of the beauty of the season in the bouquet, you can also easily combine with fresh summer flowers, a long stem of ivy from the hedge or some dried flowers or grasses for a fuller bouquet. The paper flowers are also suitable for creative projects, where they can be used for everything from a wreath on the wall, napkin rings to festive spring table settings or in a wreath in the hair when confirmation and wedding parties are just around the corner.
