Kristina, who is the designer of our beautiful Paperflowers collection, has given her take on how a table setting with flowers could look at her home.
Less is more is not something Kristina cultivates , on the contrary, she covers it up, so that her thoughts fly to the flower meadows of summer.
CREATIVE TABLE SETTING
The table setting is inspired by flower meadows, and Kristina has used the paper flowers in many ways. There are hanging flowers, standing flowers, flowers in vases and flowers used as decorations in the glasses.
The table setting is overwhelming, enchanting and sensational. Time and energy have been spent on creating the right context and the paper flowers from Studio About have many uses.
FLOWER CLOUD OF PAPER FLOWERS
Kristina has hung the floating flowers with fishing line so that it looks as if they are floating over the table. To avoid too many holes in the ceiling, she has chosen to use only 3 nails for the project. You can also use double-sided tape, depending on which ceiling you have.
All you need is:
- Paper flowers
- Fishing line
- Nail or tape
GLASS DECORATIONS
If you need a simple idea for your upcoming party, do like Kristina and use the paper flowers as glass decorations. Here are the beautiful champagne bowls from Louise Roe, joined by flowers.
Simply twist the flower stem around the stem of the glass. If you are holding a confirmation, wedding or other party with place cards, it is easy to attach it to the flower or place it in the glass.
SUMMER TABLE SETTING
The standing flowers on the table create depth and let the eye explore. Kristina has here shaped the stem as a "spring". This is done easily as all the stems of the flowers are made of strong steel wire. They can therefore also be easily folded out again after use and placed in a vase.
The PAPER FLOWER collection from Studio About currently contains 22 different flowers. They can be combined crosswise, and all the colors go well with each other.
