Lavender

However, one should just be aware that there are two kinds of chamomile flowers - the fragrant kind that contains essential oils in the flower, which gives the characteristic fragrance and taste, and a more neutral version without fragrance. Both can be used, but the neutral is largely tasteless, so go in search of the fragrant kind.

Mint

The coin grows wild but is also part of many herb beds around the residential areas. Whichever type you choose, the delicate leaves are bursting with its characteristic peppermint flavor.
