CANDLES IN DANISH DESIGN

The LINK candlestick was designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, who is the creative force behind Studio About. “ As a bit of a material nerd, I'm proud to present you with the LINK candlestick. It is basically minimalist and a bit raw in its expression, but also gets a special softness when it suddenly stands in the gold-colored variant ", says Mikkel.

As an architect, Mikkel is interested in designing objects with a perfect balance between design and function, and the LINK candlestick is a good example of an object that is quite simple in its expression, but which can have several functions depending on where many LINKS and what types of metals are put together. Use a simple candlestick on the shelf or create an organic table setting, where the LINK candlestick snakes elegantly across the table.

A DYNAMIC AND MODULAR CANDLEHOLDER

With the candlestick's simple and minimalist expression, Mikkel's Nordic design roots shine through clearly. “ It is important to me that designs from Studio About have a long life, both in terms of durability and a timeless design. But I also want to help us experiment and play a little more in the decor. And it is obvious with the LINK candlestick ", says Mikkel.

The modular candlestick invites you to use it creatively in your home. As the name suggests, you can assemble the candlestick yourself - the individual links are easily put into each other, and there is thus ample opportunity to make the candlestick personal. Build extra candlesticks, build up in height or mix with other colors. The candlestick is available in matt gold, black, matt silver, and shiny silver.

The LINK candlestick fits all standard size candles, and it is obvious to play with different expressions and types of candles. Both colored candles >, twisted candles and our new glaslys offers every opportunity to personalize the candlestick and customize its own decor or table setting. And now that the sweet Christmas season is approaching, it can also be used as an alternative to the Advent wreath of spruce or with a little simple decoration.

ALUMINUM CANDLES

The candlestick is made of solid aluminum in one piece and is anodized in different shades. The anodizing gives the candlestick a strong surface that is both durable, dirt-repellent, and stainless. The candlestick will therefore retain its beautiful luster and color and thus stay neat over time.
