/ PLAYFUL PAPER FLOWER DECORATIONS

Paper flowers have really gained a foothold in the interior design and many of us have probably looked enviously at the skilled paper artists who repeatedly conjure up impressive bouquets of handmade paper flowers. And the beautiful paper flowers are popular for a reason - they have endless uses, and the best thing is that you can use them again and again.

Here we have gathered some ideas for you who want to be creative with paper flowers and have inspiration for different ways to use the flowers. Paper Flowers from Studio About is designed in collaboration with paper artist Kristina from the blog Labdecor, and in the collection you will find poppies, peonies, dahlias, and daisies in beautiful colors.

TABLE COVER WITH PAPER FLOWERS

Paper flowers are obvious to use in small vases on the table, but you can also take advantage of the pliable stem and use them as napkin rings. You just wrap the stem around a napkin - it's super simple, but looks inviting and turns the plate into a very small work of art. It's also a great way to add a little color to the table and the only danger is that guests are tempted to snatch the table decorations home!

Here we have covered up with pink and blue flea finds as a base and decorated the napkins with peony in nude and a < strong> red poppy . Vaserne Standing Bubble i Amber and the blue Flower Tube span > has got some dried flowers and a aubergine-colored peony.

A BEAUTIFUL ETERNAL WRENCH WITH FLOWERS

Many people probably associate the classic flower wreath with Christmas, where it beautifully hangs door and welcomes guests. But the flower wreath can also be made in a simpler version that can easily be hung all year round.

TIPS FOR YOUR DIY WREATH

You can buy a fine brass ring as a base, or you can use branches from a willow tree or an old metal hanger that you just stretch out into a circular shape. Let the paper flower be the eye-catcher on your ring and put some simple green or dried flowers around.

  • Choose a natural base with some green and dried flowers in neutral colors
  • Choose 2-3 paper flowers in the same shades or in beautiful contrasting colors and let them be eye-catching in the wreath < / li>
  • Decorate only half of your wreath for a simple and easy look

Here we have made a wreath in brass with eucalyptus and slightly dried flowers. We have used paper flowers yellow dahlia, nude peony, and purple daisy. The wreath can easily hang on its own, but also gives a creative and personal look to the picture wall or as part of a small still life.

BUCKET WITH PAPER FLOWERS

You do not need 12 long-stemmed paper flowers to make a beautiful everlasting bouquet. Paper flowers are beautiful in the company of dried flowers, and if you just use a few individual flowers, they give a nice visual effect in the bouquet. Here we have used eggplant and nude peony, yellow dahlia, and purple daisy in our amber Flower Tube vase.

You can also choose to mix paper flowers and fresh flowers - it gives a different and exciting bouquet. However, just make sure that the stalk of the paper flower is protected from water, possibly. by using a small tube around the stem.

Paper flowers also work well in your own company, and you can easily use a single stem in a vase. The flower stem can be bent, and therefore works for both tall and low vases. The stem folds out easily again when you need to use it in other projects. Use a single paper flower as part of the table setting or in a small still life with trinkets and flea finds.

In this little still life we have used nude peony and red poppy in the company of an amber standing bubble > and some flea finds.

GIVE FLOWERS LIFE

The paper flowers from Studio About are handmade and lovingly folded in the small box. When you receive the flower, you must therefore unfold the leaves yourself. You can thus choose whether the flower should be completely open or a little more closed. The crepe paper is easy to shape, and if you gently rub the thumb into a leaf, you can give the leaf a slight rounding. That way, you can give your flowers a personal look while making the look livelier and more lifelike.

THE PAPER FLOWERS COST FROM NOK 49 PER PIECE AND ARE AVAILABLE IN DIFFERENT VARIANTS. BUY THE FLOWERS HERE.
