The STANDING PLANT BUBBLE collection is a series of solid coloured glass vases designed to carry individual flower stalks and smaller plants. The vases are available in a range of sizes and colours all designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen. The bubble vase is available here in a beautiful smoky version and with its minimalist and classic look, it naturally blends into the decor.
The vase consists of a small smoke coloured glass bubble, which rests on a transparent cylindrical base, giving the vase a light and floating expression. The vase can be decorative just as it is but works splendidly in combinations with vases in other sizes, colours and materials.
There are plenty of opportunities to be creative with the decoration using this glass vase. With a 5.5 cm vase opening, there is room for a large fresh flower head from the garden, a small decoration with a succulent or a sculptural air plant. Let the seasons inspire you and change the decoration when you feel it’s time for renewal. If you want a carefree solution, you can also use the vase with a beautiful handmade paper flower.
The coloured glass compliments flowers in a beautifully subtle way and adds a special ambience to the decor. With the vase's transparent foot, the bubble has a floating effect that highlights the organic shape of the vase as well as the decoration inside.
The bubble vases are handcrafted in borosilicate glass, which is lighter and stronger than ordinary glass. It withstands high temperatures and is scratch-resistant, so no need to worry about bursting glass or the vase losing its colour.
It can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap. You can use any kind of vinegar to remove any limescale.
