Cherry Fluff is inspired by Echinacea ’Cherry Fluff’ and is one of the new flowers from Studio About's fourth collection of paper flowers designed by the artist Kristina from Labdecor.

The flower is made from coloured crepe paper in several layers with two centre elements, giving the flower its adorable and delicate expression. The flower head is attached to a long flexible stem which can be adjusted to how you want it to look.

IN YOUR HOME

Cherry Fluff has a big pom pom-like head, giving it a whole different expression compared to other paper flowers from Studio About. Because of the volumized flowerhead, it can easily stand by itself and embellish your home, but can also still contribute to a beautiful bouquet with the two pastel-like colours the flower is available in, giving the bouquet more volume without being too much. Otherwise, you can also take two in either the same or in the two different colours available, and put them together in a transparent vase where the stem will add to the flowers' expression.

So, your Cherry Fluff can be used as a single, but also with other flowers - both real and paper flowers - to make a bouquet. You can use your paper flowers the same way you would use regular flowers. If you combine your paper flowers with your regular flowers, then remember to protect the paper flowers from any water.

BRING LIFE TO THE FLOWERS

When you receive the flower, you need to unfold the leaves yourself. You can choose whether the flower should be fully open or slightly more closed.

The crepe paper is also easily shaped and if you gently rub the thumb into a leaf, you can give the leaf a slight rounding. This way you can give your flowers a personal look and they will be livelier and truer to nature.

Follow these 3 steps to unfold it completely:

• Carefully grab the flower head down in the box and pull it out.
• Spread the petals of the flower.
• To create more fullness, you can gently pull your thumb in the centre of a petal, making them more curved.
