The HANGING FLOWER BUBBLE collection is a series of vases in solid coloured glass, all easily hung up in the enclosed leather cord. The vases are designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen and have a light and simple expression that fits into most homes.
Hanging vases are a beautiful and different way to decorate with flowers and plants and float in the air creating a beautiful effect in your room. The floating design highlights the vase's minimalist and organic shape but also gives a sculptural expression - especially in the company of the season's fresh flowers. This vase is very suitable for a single flower - use either very simple flowers or more voluminous ones such as an orchid. You can use the leather cord to support the stem.
And why not experiment with different plants in the vase? It is an easy way to bring nature inside and does not require much care. Choose plants that can take root in the water or a single small branch that eventually will wrap itself around the leather cord.
This particular hanging vase is available in a beautiful deep amber colour. The vase is transparent and when the light falls on it, it will cast beautiful shadows on your wall and highlight the small bubbles in the water in the bottom of the vase. The window or any other bright place works best with the vase. However, it is also very decorative as part of the picture wall with a dried flower or a paper flower. You can also use several of these round vases in a cluster creating a personal hanging still life.
Coloured glass works well in most homes and it is an easy way to a subtle touch of colour in your decor. The bubble vases are available in many different colours and models, so you can easily combine your favourites and vary the type of decoration as you please.
The series of vases are all mouth-blown and made of borosilicate glass. This type of glass can withstand large temperature fluctuations and is even scratch-resistant. The quality of the vases ensures a durable piece of decoration that will stay nice for a long time. Due to the type of glass, you can also use vinegar to remove any appearing limescale and if you need to simply clean it, water and liquid soap can be used comfortably.
The hanging vases are available in 3 different sizes - 8 cm, 11 cm and 13,5 cm and you can choose between two different sizes of vase openings. This vase is 11 cm in diameter and has an opening of 2 cm making it best suited for a single flower or two - alternatively a cutting.
If you want to use the vase with a candle, air plant or something else that requires a larger opening, choose a vase with an opening of 55-100 mm. Beware that you need to replace the leather cord and use a metal one if you choose to use your vase with a candle – the leather cord is not suitable for candles.

The vase comes in a discreet cardboard tube and can therefore be comfortably transported and delivered to your home.
