IT'S A SET OF 2

2 candles in glass, 21 cm

Be aware that the yellow colour may vary from production to production. You may experience that the colour is a little lighter or darker than displayed in the image.
DECORATE WITH GLASS LIGHT
Here, the glass candles are available in beautiful yellow making it easy to bring colour into the decor. The glass candle is an alternative light that is highly decorative, burns beautifully and adds a cosy ambience. You can use the candles in your favourite candlesticks, in a still life or they can bring eye-catching contrast to a beautiful decoration.
Use the yellow glass candles to add colour to the breakfast table or use them for Easter where the yellow colour really fits in well. For Christmas 2020, we chose to use them in our Advent wreath.
The candle has a small rubber ring at the bottom ensuring that the candle is stable and fits in all standard candlesticks.
Explore also the series of LINK candlesticks, where the elegant glass candles also can be used.
The candles are mouth-blown and made of solid-coloured borosilicate glass. Borosilicate is an extremely strong type of glass that endures temperature, high and low which means, that you do not have to be afraid that your glass will burst.
As the glass candle is not made of ordinary candle wax, you will be able to enjoy the light again and again, and the glass will continue to stay nice over time. If the glass needs cleaning, you can easily wash it with warm water and liquid soap.
BURNING TIME AND LAMP OIL
Oil and wicks have a big influence on the burning time, so we have tested different lamp oils to find it best suitable oil for these particular glass candles.
We recommend that you use Alaska lamp oil. This oil is a common lamp oil, which is odour- and soot-free. Choosing the right oil has a great influence on how and how long the lights burn.
Alaska oil is good for indoor use and can be purchased where you would normally buy lamp oil.
A filled light can burn for about 5-8 hours continuously, depending on the type of oil.
However, you should be aware that glass candles are not made of wax, meaning that the flame will never be as large as on an ordinary wax candle.
When approx. is 3-4 cm of oil is left in your glass candle, the flame will be smaller as the wick has difficulty absorbing the oil due to the design of the candle.
Simply add lamp oil to your glass candle after use. This way you ensure that the wick and flame bring you the best result. It is important that you never split the wicks as the oil light will burn significantly worse. There are always 4 wicks in a pack of 2 candles.
FILLING UP OIL
Leave the wick in the small glass tube.
Fill with oil using the small funnel provided.
Dab the top of the wick with a drop of oil from the funnel. Let 3-5 mm wick peek up to the flame.
The light is usually switched off by blowing or using a light extinguisher.
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE GLASS HAS COOLED DOWN BEFORE REFILLING.
