WHICH STAGE CAN BE USED

The lights can be used in all standard 22 mm candlesticks.

At the bottom of the glass candle is a rubber strap that ensures that the light is stable and safe in your candlesticks.

You may use the glass candles together with vintage candlesticks or the classic cube candlestick. For the autumn of 2020, we will be releasing a modular candlestick produced in aluminum in 4 different anodisations, where our glass candles fit perfectly.

The glass candles are mouth blown in the strong material borosilicate glass that can withstand high temperatures. So, you do not have to worry about the glass bursting.

WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU BUY 1 PK. LYS

  • 2 oil, glass candle
  • 4 fiberglass wicks
  • 1 small funnel
  • Extra purchase: lamp oil

BURNING TIME AND LAMP OIL

Oil and wicks have a great influence on the burning time, and therefore we have tested different lamp oils to find the best oil for our glass candle.

We recommend that you use Alaska brand lamp oil. This oil is a common lamp oil, which is odor and soot free. It does not matter which oil you use, as it has a great influence on how and for how long the candles burn. However, you should be aware that the glass candles are not candles, and thus the flame will never be as large as on a real candle.

Alaska oil is good for indoor use and can >.

A filled light can burn for about 6-8 hours continuously, depending on the type of oil.

A wick lasts for a minimum of 1000 hours of burning. You have extra wicks in your box when you buy the product.

OIL FILLING GUIDE

We have created an easy guide on how to add lamp oil to your glass light so you can always light up for colors and coziness at home.

STEP 1

By first refill oil, take the wick all the way up by the glass light. However, leave the wick in the small cylindrical tube that holds the wick.

When filling with oil after for the first time, simply lift the small cylindrical tube out of the glass light incl. wick and follow steps 2-5.

STEP 2

You place your funnel up in the opening of the candle, where you then fill your glass candle with lamp oil.

STEP 3

Now you can put the wick back in the glass light. Dab the top of the wick with a little oil. If necessary, use your funnel here, which may still contain some oil residue.

STEP 4

Give the wick 24 hours to absorb oil properly. If you turn on the wick too soon, the wick will not burn properly.

STEP 5

Now you're ready to turn on your tinted glass light.

Turn off your glass candle with a regular candle extinguisher, or blow it out, like a classic candle. Always open a window so you can ventilate properly after you have had your lights on.

NOTE

After using the light, we recommend that you refill the glass light so that the entire wall will be covered of oil.
